the Sukkos Date

Anyone not able to chap a date over Yom Tov? Here's the flip side of the coin: no need for you to walk with a guy carrying a larger than life purse, and then sit down on the grass of a park (hello? did he even THINK of a girl wearing a straight/pencil skirt and heels?!?!? how can one even inch down dressed like that?) and put up his pop up sukkah.
awkward much?
not to mention claustrophobia

  2. Hahahaha. That is the funniest, and equally saddest, dating story I've heard in a while...Sorry for your experience.

    1. Thats a very broad and non factual statement. Pencil skirts are not by definition not tzinus. If SOS was wearing one, Im quite sure it was perfectly tznius.

  4. Actually they are. They are meant to squeeze and accentuate the buttox and to be honest it's a bit of stretch to put so many demands on a guy. Just enjoy the date! I've followed this blog for a few years and I'm beginning to fear Ms. SOS is just bent on being single...you cannot have it all.

    1. Wow. If you don't see what's wrong with the comment you made, I won't even bother responding. Let all the other readers of this blog look at your comment and judge...

    2. Why exactly are you the "official responder" for this blog?

    3. I'm not. I just didn't enjoy the downright asinine comment that lady made.

  5. devorah leah-I'm insulted. I'm not quite sure how you intended your comment be taken, but it sounds as if you think I enjoy being single. I thought my post was quite humorous. It didn't bother me in the least-as the guy was doing the right thing-having a sukkah on standby INCASE he was going to eat.
As a single, I was enjoying the humorous part of trying to get seated tzniusdikly with a straight skirt=sheesh!
