No...Before I was married I wondered the same thing. Now that I am married I still wonder the same thing. I don’t know; time just kind of disappears. I think the bulk of it has to do with schmoozing and just hanging out with your spouse after a long day. Also, you do have to take into account that studies have concluded that engaged and married people hemorrhage friends because of this: http://solelyinblackandwhite.blogspot.com/2010/09/engageds-lost-friends.htmlSiBaWhttp://solelyinblackandwhite.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7959111291997881512.post-73104069411724980862011-06-02T16:01:21.463-04:002011-06-02T16:01:21.463-04:00My husband actually likes to spend time with me in...My husband actually likes to spend time with me in the evenings so that is what we do.

and ditto to all the things that Chana said.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7959111291997881512.post-65552725841884204542011-06-02T15:10:40.941-04:002011-06-02T15:10:40.941-04:00I don't know what most marrieds do, but here&#...I don't know what most marrieds do, but here's what I do:

-Work a 9 to 5 job which means I wake up at 7 and get home at 6
-Cook dinner, pack lunches for myself and my husband/ cook Shabbos
-Wash dishes
-Clean the house/ scrub toilets/ scrub showers
-Pay bills
-Go grocery shopping
-Go on date nights with my husband
-Read/ watch TV shows

It's a ton of work. Unlike when I was single, I don't share the apartment with 4 other roommates who can all pitch in their share and help out. Nor can I rely on a different roommate making Shabbos or everyone making one dish and creating a potluck meal. If I or my husband don't take care of things, then they simply won't happen...so we're busy.Chanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17655144434904957767noreply@blogger.com
